Spirit Speak with Seane Corn:
Turning Your Yoga Class Into a Journey of the Soul
November 5th-9th - 9:00am-4:30pm
In this very special 5-day immersion, open to yoga teachers and seasoned practitioners, Seane Corn will take participants deep into the process of exploring the subtle, physical and spiritual energies involved in finding one’s own unique self expression and facilitating transformational journey work for themselves and their students. This training is about cultivating personal strengths as a yogi, developing a strong and confident voice, and how to turn a simple class or personal practice into a soul-inspiring experience.
All practitioners are taught the mechanics: alignment, sequencing, asana, pranayama, meditation – the tradition and rich history of yoga. Yet, they are often left yearning for a way to bring themselves, and later their students, into a place of deep surrender, prayer and intentional energetic shifts.
“Holding space” for transformation requires our own deep commitment to the inner journey of spirit and the compassion, courage, and willingness to articulate the soul’s journey to others. With Seane’s guidance, we’ll explore our own personal practice and connection to source and how to then invite Spirit into the body/mind experience, incorporate ritual, and realize how to speak authentically from the heart as a way to inspire, inform and motivate our practice or class.
This training will ultimately shed light on just how powerful and inspirational YOU can be and offer tools for sharing your unique self-expression on your mat.

Alluem Kids Yoga Camp is designed to help our children learn how they can open their hearts to brighten their lives and make a difference in this world by first...BEING KIND. We'll be focusing on how to be kind to ourselves and our own sweet hearts through yoga, mindfulness, breathing and relaxation. Then is the time that we can take our yoga off the mat and share that kindness with our friends, our families, classmates and our community. Yoga is more than just the poses...it's about finding peace, giving back when you can and being the example to help make the world a better place. It'll be an empowering week to guide them down the path of discovering how simple acts of kindness can really shape this world! (18 yogi maximum) $240/child~includes classes, yoga mat, journal, snacks, tee shirt and lessons to last a lifetime!

The Crayon Initiative: Art + Yoga Workshops for Kids
with Karen Gilmour
Sunday, July 22nd - 11:30am-1:30pm - ages 10-14yrs
Sunday, August 19th - 11:30am-1:30pm - ages 5-9yrs
Take part in The Crayon Initiative here in our studio! More than a half-million pounds of crayons are discarded every year, turning into a waxy sludge that clogs our landfills and never biodegrades. The Crayon Initiative collects donated crayons across the country, then melts them down to remanufacture them, reducing waste. Best part - the recycled crayons are distributed to art programs at children’s hospitals across the U.S., brightening the lives of young patients during their stay.Bring your used Crayons to Alluem for this workshop! Creatively express yourself through Yoga and Art! Allow the art of movement to collide with visual arts...find the focus, balance and confidence you need to create through yoga. Flow, meditate and then create a piece of art! Feel good about giving back in a way that can change another child's life. Art or yoga experience not required. $30 per child (includes art supplies)
We'll be collecting used Crayons at the front desk between now and August 26th!
