Dauna DeMarsico Jendrek
Yoga has truly evolved with me, transforming from a physical exercise to a profound spiritual practice. It's become my foundation, keeping me focused on the here and now, a vital tool in managing my anxiety, ADHD, and OCD. For years, I've had the privilege of working with individuals of all abilities and ages, fostering growth and love for their own well-being. After 10+ years as a student, I completed my 200-hour teacher training at Bhakti Barn Yoga in Millburn, NJ in 2025, and call Alluem my home studio where I'm a substitute instructor. I'm honored to be one of their newest Alluem Kids instructors. I'm currently receiving my kids yoga certification through Little Flower Yoga, NYC. My experience as an assistant to children's programs and founding director of preschool camp in Berkeley Heights, along with my role as a Coordinator for Special Needs programs at a non-profit in Mountainside, has shown me the transformative power of mindful movement and creative expression. This passion was also at the heart of my work at Compass SchoolHouse and Franklin Food Bank, where I spent years building best practices within teaching, community engagement, communications, and marketing. I infuse my classes with the same joyful, inclusive spirit I brought in every career move, blending traditional practice with curiosity and contemporary education, to create an engaging and empowering environment. As a K-6 certified teacher and historian, I honor yoga's rich history and the 8 limbs, moving beyond traditional asana by incorporating contemporary music, and art into my classes. My background as a cheerleader and marketing manager fuels my creative and experimental approach, while Tricia Hersey's "Rest Is Resistance" and Glennon Doyle's "We Can Do Hard Things" guide my personal journey. This blend of spirituality and lightheartedness help me foster open, engaging environments where students of all ages feel empowered to explore their bodies, minds, and souls. |

Gabrielle Siani
Gabrielle is a New Jersey native originally from Cranford. It was at her home studio, Alluem Yoga, where she discovered her love for yoga in 2008. In 2015, Gabrielle moved to Boston to attend Emerson College, where she studied theater and education. While in school, Gabrielle found Yogaworks Back Bay, where she worked at the front desk, and signed up for the 200-hour teacher training program with Caitlyn Visconte and Renee LeBlanc, graduating in December 2016. Graduating from Emerson in 2018, Gabrielle started teaching theater across Massachusetts. She’s worked in public schools, residential schools, and even taught private classes. As a teacher and nanny, Gabrielle has worked with children ranging from infants to 22-year-olds. She has experience teaching children who’ve been displaced, have trauma, health issues, and are also living with special needs. Gabrielle loved how teaching theater, and even yoga, to some of these children brought a smile and calm to their day. In June 2023, Gabrielle moved back to New Jersey and has been teaching yoga throughout the state. Since then, Gabrielle completed her 30-hour Restorative Training with Yoga Renew and became a Certified Health Coach through the IIN. When you come to Gabrielle’s classes, you can expect creative sequencing, a killer playlist, a good dose of challenge, and a fun time. Students describe her classes as fiery, fun, playful, and dance-like. |
